About

Cheap Digital Movies is an independent price board for people who buy movies and TV to own. It started as a tool to build an Apple TV library without overpaying, and it still answers one question: what is the cheapest way to own this film today?

How the board works

Every day we check Apple TV, Vudu (Fandango at Home) and digital code sellers for current prices.
Bundles are priced per film (or per episode for TV), so a $20 eight-film collection sorts next to a $2.50 single.
Prices show when they were last checked. Prices that could not be rechecked recently are flagged as possibly changed, then dropped from the board.
We check Movies Anywhere eligibility for codes where we can, so you know which purchases sync across stores.

Our rules

Cheapest first, always. Commissions never change the order of the board.
Third-party code sellers are labeled. They are not the studio or the store; buy from them knowing that.
We never sell your data. See the privacy policy.
